The TVIRD Group’s medical outreach program has made a significant impact on local communities, reaching close to 20,000 beneficiaries from its host and neighboring barangays in Agata. Similarly, it provides essential medical services to beneficiaries in Balabag and to more than 10,000 across Siana’s eight barangays.
This widespread effort highlights the company’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of all the communities it serves.

he company significantly contributes to education wherever it operates. To date, TVIRD has provided school supplies and financial support for close to 35,000 beneficiaries as well as the service of “school boats” for students in its Agata coastal communities.
Meanwhile, it has also supported the education of close to 4,000 beneficiaries in Balabag and over 11,000 in Siana through scholarships, grants, school supplies as well as support to the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela program.

TVIRD has established the Mabakas and SIDLAK Techno Demo Farms to promote livelihood and agriculture training for its communities in Agata and Siana. Both institutions are the only TESDA-accredited organic farm schools operated by a mining company in the respective Caraga and Zamboanga Peninsula regions.
National Certification agricultural courses include coconut production, camote and banana chips, handicrafts, water hyacinth handicrafts and abaca production. Meantime, livestock courses include Tilapia breeding, free-range Chicken and livelihood training.
A significant number of its more than 18,000 graduates now operate their own farms that sustained their communities during the pandemic.

TVIRD’s infrastructure projects have significantly improved local communities by enhancing connectivity, providing access to major thoroughfares, and helping mobilize people and much-needed goods in the hinterlands where it operates.
The company has maintained a road network of 140 kilometers in and around Canatuan during its operations and supported the construction of several schools in its beneficiary communities. It has also installed streetlights and water systems that benefit over 20,000 residents in Balabag.
