Following its first joint medical mission in coastal barangays, AMVI and Sociedad Española de Beneficencia Inc. conducted the second and final leg of its medical missions for year in Barangay E. Morgado, Santiago Municipality.
TVIRD’s Agata Mining Ventures Inc. partners with Bombo Radyo in the latter’s Dugong Bombo 2014 – an annual event that provides a considerable life-saving donation to thousands of beneficiaries across the country.
TVIRD-operated Agata Mining Ventures Inc. and Spanish foundation Sociedad Española de Beneficencia Inc. conducted a joint medical mission in the coastal barangays of Tinigbasan and Lawigan in Tubay, providing care to over 550 beneficiaries.
TVIRD’s host municipality for its Agata Mining Project, Tubay, culminated its 67th founding anniversary via the Miss Tubay beauty pageant. More than celebrating another milestone, it marked the community’s hope for lasting unity and brotherhood as well as long-term development and progress.
TVIRD-led Agata Mining Ventures Inc. supports the DENR’s 3.2-million tree effort, elevating the Philippines as a world record holder for the most number of trees simultaneously planted in one hour.
TVIRD’s Agata joint venture continues to receive the strong support of its host tribes – the Mamanwas and the Manobos. Recently, the company and its employees commemorated the “Kahimoan” with its indigenous hosts, offering prayers and celebrating both tribes’ customs and traditions.
Subanen leaders entered into a memorandum of agreement with TVIRD in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. The leaders represent the collective Subanen tribe in the Municipality of Bayog of the same province, including the company’s MPSA area in Sitio Balabag, where it is primed to bring its gold and silver project on stream.
In commemoration of RMN Butuan’s 55th Anniversary, Agata Mining Ventures Inc. (AMVI) mobilized its own team to support the RMN DXBC Medical Mission in Barangay Obrero, Butuan City. The delegation joined other volunteers in providing immediate relief to common ailments, checks-ups and consultation, and much-needed medicines for over 1,000 beneficiaries
TVIRD and the AFP’s Special Forces planted 2,375 rubber tree seedlings right above the company’s sulphide dam. The reforestation initiative is a recovery effort to replace some 50 full-grown Falcatta trees that were felled by Kaingineros in the company’s Canatuan mine site.
For the fourth consecutive year – and upon its 27th anniversary celebration – the DENR conferred an award on TVIRD-operated Agata Mining Ventures Inc. for the successful implementation of its Coastal Resource Management Program.
