The Agata-supported Bombo Medico Medical and Dental Mission provided free medical and dental services to over 2,000 beneficiaries in Butuan City. It is the largest humanitarian mission in CARAGA.

In light of the damaging effects of climate change and the heightened awareness towards the ecology, TVIRD’s Agata Mining Ventures Inc. (AMVI) joined millions worldwide in the commemoration of Earth Hour 2016 – a global movement aimed at resource conservation.
TVIRD’s Agata Mining Ventures, Inc. responded to the DENR-MGB’s challenge – pitting its skills, advocacies and environmental practices to those of 17 other mining companies in the CARAGA Region – and came home with top honors.
In active response to the DENR’s call to preserve biodiversity and mitigate the effects of climate change, TVIRD’s Agata Mining Ventures Inc. rallied its communities towards propagating the natural habitat of various species – planting 9,000 new trees and cumulatively bringing the company’s total to 173,598 trees within its MPSA.
As part of its progressive rehabilitation program , Agata Mining Ventures Inc. (AMVI) has dedicated itself towards “greening” its natural environment – which will eventually be better and “greener” than before the company commenced operations.
Employees of TVIRD’s Agata Mining Venture Inc. (AMVI) led by Environmental Management Jessalyn Guingging as well as members of the local community conducted a massive riverside clean-up and replanting activity along the 29-kilometer Kalinawan River – AMVI’s adopted river and the major tributary that runs through the company’s 4,995-hectare MPSA.
Tubay Municipality’s CENRO representatives once again witnessed the Ocean Month celebration in Agata Mining Ventures Inc. and lauded the company for its ongoing commitment towards responsible mining – a dedication instilled by project proponent and operator, TVI Resources Development Philippines Inc. (TVIRD).
